I have figured out I'm going to have to get wordpress, although am on Twitter so I should be able to find you there. I was a bit troubled about your absence (now that I'm back on LJ) and am happy to 'see' you!

Am sorry you've come to dislike Idol that much. However I understand. Please don't be a stranger! There are some decent authors in the mix, but not everyone's offerings are, I don't know the word I'm looking for- appealing? As far as voting goes, they're your votes. It is up to the author to write well enough to deserve it.

Sure, I'm PM you! But any follower that doesn't look like a porn blog or spambot at my professional blogs usually gets a followback anyway :)

Aw, that's sweet. I'm usually convinced no-one will notice if I drop off the face of the earth :) I didn't realise until I came to do the round-up post how little I've posted to LJ this month. I had lots of writing, promoting fic, and catching up to do, but I'm getting there now, so hopefully I'll be around more in February.
