Story Summary: An AU in which Richard initially refuses to accept his 'destiny', being happy in the Westland with his adopted family. When Darken Rahl nonetheless tracks Richard down, Richard accepts him as family. Thus the world begins to change; and there are adventures, some angst, and some romance along the way. Starts out close to the original plot of 'Prophecy', becoming significantly AU as the story progresses
