Long Hard Times To Come in Purgatory (1916 words) by meridian_rose
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Justified, Wynonna Earp (TV)
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Ambiguous or Implied Relationship(s)
Characters: Raylan Givens, Wynonna Earp, Boyd Crowder, Doc Holliday (Wynonna Earp), Waverly Earp

Summary:

When Boyd escapes prison, Raylan tracks him to the small town of Purgatory, and finds there are weirder things in existence than he thought. He meets Wynonna Earp, demon killer, and if her friend Doc can stop glowering at him, maybe they'd find plenty in common. And maybe Boyd has one more trick up his sleeve.

I received two lovely fics for Yuletide (both in the Wynonna Earp fandom) and I wrote ten fics (one of which was a drabble) in six* fandoms. The most treat fics I've ever completed, and one became my first pinch hit.
10,483 words total.
*One was a crossover fic so six Yuletide fandoms and one not-Yuletide eligible so sort of seven fandoms?

I wrote 500+ words after last night post bringing yesterday's total to 1592, and so far today I've written 1123 words split between two different projects. The Small Fandom Big Bang rules don't allow me to share snippets of WiPs, so I'll share a line from the other project. I think I've finished the first draft but it's very choppy and I don't know if I will include more scenes when I edit.
It's a Justified/Wynnona Earp crossover. Because Wynnona and I both seem to have a thing for anachronistic cowboy types and Raylan would fit in so well with the Black Badge crew.

"Well, well, well." Boyd strode before the assembled company like the cock in a henhouse. "Did I not say we would both be back here?"

Raylan glowered. Wynonna fingered Peacemaker. Doc and Nicole were flanking Waverly, while Dolls sat projecting deceptive calm.

"So only you can save the world?" Dolls asked. "That's convenient."

I may have also made some You Should Be Writing graphics, Wynonna Earp style. But I wrote more than 1k words before doing so! :)

Are you all spending most of the weekend writing or do you have other plans? It will be Bonfire Night in the UK, any parties?

There's a lot of you should be writing/shouldn't you be writing graphics out there and sometimes I like to play with the idea - you don't need a lot of skill to make them. Basically just choose some inspirational people/characters and add some text, anything else is gravy.

I posted the full size versions to Tumblr as I did with the other graphics I made on the same theme for Indian Summers, Black Sails, and Da Vinci's Demons.

Here I present Shouldn't You Be Writing, the Wynonna Earp edition. AKA write first, doughnuts later!
