A drabble written as a gift for the recent whedonland birthday celebrations

Desire, V, Erica/?, PG-13

Before the Visitors she'd never have even entertained the thought. If it weren't for the Visitors she'd probably never even have met him.

She knows it's wrong. She knows better than to cross this particular line. But she no longer cares.

Once everything had seemed clear-cut, manageable, sensible. She upheld the law, capturing the humans who did terrible things to other humans, and then went home to a husband and a son.

Now she was alone, disconnected from Joe and even Tyler, facing a terrible and inhuman foe. Nothing made sense anymore; all the rules seemed petty and pointless.

Right now it's only a fantasy to pull him close, to feel his lips on hers, to make love to him. But she isn't sure how much longer it will be before she gives in and acts on her desires.
