As seen on Tumblr:

I have scenes in my head I see clearly. I plan out long, detailed dialogues. I come to write these things down and they're gone or refuse to transfer themselves to the screen.
I think every writer* wishes they could reach into their head and drag out the composition, fully formed, and drop it onto the page**.
*(artist, generally)
**Screen/sheet of music/etc

Date: 2013-07-26 06:40 pm (UTC)And I have trouble just visualizing interiors at all. Like out of doors locations I can figure out pretty well, but I'm bad about only having a vague image of what's in a room. Like I know that somewhere there is a chair. And there's probably a bookshelf. But where they are? NO IDEA.
Oh and I always have to go back to add descriptions of people. I always gloss over what they look like in first drafts, and then realize later that I've just sort of assumed everyone knows what they look like <_<
