It's February at last/already

I'm both relieved and not that it's February.
January was difficult in places.
That's not to say there weren't good things.
But also each month brings the work jeopardy closer and I don't know if my job will remain or what it will look like in April and that's stressful.
But we have the lunar new year to look forward to, another chance at a new start to the year. My parents are both Dragons as is my older nephew born 2012.
Then there's been the Snowflake Challenge. Which I would have liked to be more involved in but didn't manage to for various reasons.
And it's been great. I've done all the challenges in some way.
I'm still reading other people's posts. I've learnt things, joined/subscribed to communities, shared jokes, added fics to my marked for later list, snagged icons, bookmarked resources, squeed over photos. Outside of the odd post it's been incredibly wonderful.
It's also very time consuming. So like Christmas, no matter how great it was or how much you enjoy it, it should not be Christmas every day, nor Snowflake every month!
I've got the Small Fandom Big Bang to edit and I haven't even looked at my genprompt-bingo card since I signed up and posted my card. Lands of Magic will be going on a break so I'll have a breather there. GYWO is ever present - I did 16 days this month so one over the 15 I needed to be on track.
Also I have 25 things in my DW inbox. And some will be one off "thank you" comments from people I've commented to at their snowflake entries or tracked posts from GYWO and other comms I need to follow so I don't miss important announcements, but maybe others will be responses to my entries and questions/discussions which I'll enjoy but again, I need to put a bit of time aside to do those justice.
I'm also pet sitting this weekend and won't be around tomorrow or Saturday and probably most of Sunday. Winter, the husky, is very sad and chewing at her paws as she always does when stressed. Sister and brother in law are still looking at possibility of new puppy or slightly older dog to keep her company, though we're all still in mourning (except maybe the cat!)
Tagging this in lieu of a bag post; I used to do regular Where I've Been/At/Going; 'in lieu of' was a monthly post with these less structured ramblings.

I had a lovely couple of days mostly watching the streaming services I don't have access to at home including some movies I wanted to see :) And this week has been busy for other reasons and I'm away again for a few days and will share news next week :)
