Summary: The iCarly (2021) episode iFauxpologize looks at internet culture and memes, with Spencer putting on an exhibit called The Museum of Influence

Spencer has created a sculpture for his new exhibition, but a photo of Carly spitting out a bad meatball in front of the sculpture goes viral as a meme about her disgust with captions such as "when you realise cartoon characters can be hot."
Carly reposts some of the memes to boost traffic to her web show, and her roommate Harper has T-shirts produced to sell to take advantage of it, but Spencer is offended that his work is getting negative attention as if Carly is making the spit-take about his sculpture.
Spencer meets Willow,a pretty but shallow female influencer who mentions the meme, causing him to drop and break his sculpture. Enraged, Spencer creates a new show mocking the meme/influencer culture, upset with "fake art" and "fake apologies" since Carly wouldn't apologise for the effect she'd had on public perception of him, saying she hadn't meant any harm.
Carly attends the exhibition called The Museum of Influence which includes works such as an Andy Warhol inspired Carly portrait, a screen displaying current tweets, a Like button that when pressed asks "does this make your empty soul feel better?", a model of 4 foam cappuccinos which reads "is this art", a single pringle, and a heap of TVs showing a video edit of Carly surrounded by flames.
Willow takes a selfie under a picture of wings beneath the caption "I am basic", leading Carly to recognise that Willow doesn't even understand Spencer is mocking her. She says the internet has the power to bring people together but Spencer is treating it like a joke, and her content has value.
Spencer's exhibit goes viral online causing influencers, reviewers, gamers, Youtubers including ASMR artists to all rush to the gallery in anger. Carly tells Spencer to just apologise to the them, it's okay to apologise for something he didn't necessarily mean; she finally understands why Spencer was hurt and makes a proper apology.
Harper, having sold all the T-shirts, averts the disaster by telling them "Look, over there, someone's sharing their negative opinion about a tv show you liked as a child!" and the group head off to look for this imaginary new enemy.
