About the songs
I chose one of the mixes on Spotify which was my top 100 played songs from 2018.
There's a fairly good showing of the eclectic nature of my listening habits, I'm just surprised there's no Queen or Muse showing up.
Big Bad Wolf is a fun if crazy song; it's part of my playlist for an original novel WiP involving Shapeshifters.
To jump down a bit, likewise She Bangs, while a favourite Ricky Martin song, belongs in that WiP playlist. You can read all about the WiP and see the rest of the current songs in the playlist at spotify and Youtube.

I'll group these TV themes; MacGyver is the classic theme and while I love so much about the 2017 reboot that they changed the theme is something I was most disappointed about though the new version youtube does pay homage to it at the start and there are some fanvids like this with reboot clips to the classic theme. I chose Mac's ever present Victorinox Swiss Army Knife for the graphic.
The other theme is from iCarly a show I've seen quite a lot of despite not being the target audience (see also Victorious, that theme is in the list too, and Sam and Cat). I love how upbeat the lyrics are which is why I've listened to it so much.

Secret Mission is one of the many songs from the show Galavant, the comedy musical that ran for 2 seasons on ABC. It's one of my favourites from the show as King Richard now teams up Galavant to try and get rid of the worse king, Richard's brother and they're drunkenly plotting and trying to creep around the castle.
SexyBack is one I started listening to because of this legend of the seeker vid! Which explains the pic choice. The song is prime fodder for fanvids ;) I propose we bring back bringing sexyback for vids!

The Election of 1800 from Hamilton; I may have spent excessive hours listening to Hamilton after an online friend introduced me to it when I offered to beta a fic for them. It's probably not my absolute fave from the show but it's one of the many I love.

Girls and Boys by Blur, I was always Blur over Oasis though I like songs from both. This is a good one though my fave Blur song is Parklife.

Macarena by Los Del Rio, Bayside Boys Remix – it's so nostalgic and summery!

We Built this City by Starship – I love classic rock but this came back into my regular listening after seeing a longer version of this Rock of Ages clip we built this city/we're not going to take vid edited to be a reylo crack twitter vid of all things with antis led by Anne from those tweets on one side and reylos on the other.
