In the episode "Mind Games", Sebastian finds a photo album when he stops by Gregorio's apartment on the way to work. She takes it away from him. The case they're on is of a female who was tortured before being killed. Gregorio recognises similarities to other cases and contacts her Quantico mentor who taught her about the never captured serial killer. However Gregorio realises her mentor is the killer, drugging and kidnapping her victims, then making them confess to traumatic incidents from their past, before "mercy killing" them. Gregorio is captured and the team hunt for her. Sebastian realises the photo album holds a clue about the tragic past - Gregorio and a friend were on holiday as teenagers, they sneaked out to meet boys only her friend disappeared and was later found dead - and that there's a clue as to where Gregorio will be found. Gregorio is tortured by her mentor until she confesses how guilty she feels for not telling her friend's parents the truth. Her mentor puts a plastic bag over Gregorio's head but she manages to work one bloodied wrist free, attacking her captor and only stopped by the team coming to rescue her. Dwayne holds her and tells her she's safe, and sends her off to get treated for her injuries. Later, Sebastian takes Gregorio home and they sit on her sofa to relax and watch a movie together.
