Wish you were here, I
know it is just for five days
but I miss you loads

I would like to make a photo manip to put the poem on for my writing blog, but I haven't had chance to source royalty free hotel stationery, since my idea is that this is from someone attending a conference somewhere luxurious but still wishing they were back home with a loved one (or their pet :) )

Writerverse certainly encourages you to write in a variety of forms and I've started dabbling in haiku again, and even a tanka recently, along with more general prose poetry and drabbles :)
