I'd tried highlighting the photo in hopes that my text-to-speech software would tell me if there were a link if not at least some alt-text, but it didn't tell me. (I have some vision, so a navigate with my eyes and read mostly with my ears, but I didn't see that it was click-through-able.)

And I so agree: that phrase has bothered me for ever. I never saw the difference between having a bleeding disorder (easy bruising) and being emotionally sensitive. They're both involuntary and they both are at the mercy of the rest of the world as to whether it'll be gentle with me.
