And on that cracky note, that's an end to Legendland, barring the possibility of a reunion. And I'm still sad about it. And given the state of LJ these days, even I'm beginning to wonder if it's time to give up on it too.

Thank you. I loved Legendland more than I can say and I'm still sad. It gave me reasons to create fic and graphics and even cracky lyrics! (I still use LotS as inspiration for fic and graphics for other comms/challenges though)
Legendland let me feel like a part of something, even after only myself and one other person on team Mord'Sith were bothering to participate in the final battle.
I'm tired of seeing LJ comms close, of people disappearing without a word or saying they have "a REAL life"/husband now/would rather just mindlessly reblog at tumblr. It makes it difficult, especially when not that long ago there was encouragement and support for personal entries and original works as well actual fandom discussions. Now, after all the support and beta reading I did, now I've set up my professional blogs and I'm trying to find a beta reader there's a deafening silence, broken only by some asshat telling me I shouldn't publish because I can't afford a professional editor. It's enough to make me think about throwing in the towel honestly :(
I suppose there's no glory in accepting defeat though, so I'll try to carry on regardless :/
