My Notes: A cracking read with great takes on familiar characters, particularly the two Caras, Confessor!Cara and Mord'Sith!Mason.

Summary: A beserker's rage is a terrible sight to behold. It is perhaps even worse when you are the bearer of that rage.
My Notes: A wonderfully in character look at a possible Slayer-type Grimm power.

Summary: With each shattering life event piling up on one another, Nick finally hits a breaking point. Monroe and Rosalee help him accept that it's okay to break down a little. Set just after The Kiss
My Notes: a h/c story with a perfect Monroe voice and some moments of humour to offset the angst.

Summary: After Nick moves in with Monroe, they establish a routine. But then one night, Nick comes home to find Monroe isn’t there. A few phone calls reveal a pack of blutbaden who plan to take Monroe away with them, unless Nick claims Monroe as his own. What’s a Grimm to do?
My Notes: An amazing fic that, while slash, is very in-character. It involves a very plausible Grimm-like situation with plenty of humour and great dialogue.

My notes: Beautiful descriptions and fantastic characterisation and dialogue. The Nolan/Emily friendship is so perfectly rendered; for example here's Nolan observing Emily: On too many women the line would have sounded shrill or vacuous or overdone. On Emily, it sounded like the promise of a cut throat if he dared to argue.
