I'm disappointed by having "sex pollen" on my card since my veto was "fuck or die" and I see both of those tropes are being non-con in nature, taking away people's agency to refuse sex. The best I can come up with is "Lost Girl" because Bo's succubus nature generates sexual attraction in order for her to feed on the energy of a sexual act. This once included her somewhat apologetically seducing a self-confessed gay male security guard. So I could icon/picspam Bo, I think.

Looking at it again, I was hoping for a row because hurt/comfort and metafic are prompts I'm in love with. But I could for column(s) instead if I really want to avoid sex pollen!

Metafic - has a number of definitions, but it's about awareness of the fictional nature of the text. It's usually (1) a story within a story and/or a story told by the narrator so it is obvious this is a fiction or (2) a story in which the characters are aware they are in a narrative and may even interact with the storyteller.
I use the latter version most often, and have a fic verse where the characters complain about the things their Creator, their author, puts theme through :)

I love H/C bingo and have played it for several rounds :D (If I didn't know about it, I would be so glad you pointed it out though!!) I claimed a line just before the last deadline, and will get a new card as soon as amnesty is over :D

I don't think postage stamps are allowed until you've claimed a bingo, but I could be wrong. Kink Bingo, for example, doesn't allow corners + wild-card (only as a post-bingo extra), but H/C bingo allows corners + wild card to count as a bingo claim (because that's what I claimed this past round!) I really should read all the rules again before I start making things :D

LOL, there are so many bingo comms now it's hard to keep track of them all! They all seem to insist on a 5 fill minimum for a bingo and 500 words of fic/equivalent in various other media per fill, but other than that the actual specifics can vary quite a lot, so it's difficult to remember all the rules :)

I do not thiiiink OrigFic required 500 words of fic, at least I hope not, as 500 is long for me, but I know most of the rest do.

Sad thing is with orig fic there's not so much crosslinking/audience sharing, as far as I can tell.

You should if you're inspired! It wouldn't count for this bingo but I think any card is ok at allbingo if you wanted to share the finished product more widely :)

True, but I could work with those tropes without the sexual aspect - vampire compulsion to forget an incident, icons from Gladiator or Spartacus for example. Whereas sex pollen really is about *sex*.

I started the show at 1x03 so I didn't know about that. Although I have strong feelings about rapist characters which are mostly that they pretty much deserve whatever they get, preferably ending in a gruesome death. (Unless that's also complicated, like Spartacus's Gannicus being forced to rape Melitta. He's a victim, with his owners Lucretia and Batiatus being the ones truly responsible for the rape. He didn't decide it would fun to grab an unwilling woman off the street and force her to have sex.)

Seducing a gay man or an asexual of any flavour disturbs me because the attraction they're feeling isn't real and it could cause problems later as they work through the aftermath. It's hard enough to be any flavour of queer without having your identity forcibly brought into confusion.
But then all vampire mind control has the same problem. It's complicated when the supernatural is involved.

Off the top of my head I can't think of any other occasions Bo has deliberately had sex with an unwilling person; she tends to be able to pick up bar patrons fairly easy without non-conning them, and Dyson is always ready to provide her with emergency energy when she's injured. When she's investigating, she tends to get people steamed up for information, but not to actually have sex with them.
