In your own space, promote three communities, challenges, blogs, pages, Twitters, Tumblrs or platforms
I've rec'd it before but Imagine Ichabod Crane is a lot of fun.
Also Texts From Random Fandom is a fun TFLN tumblr which includes smaller fandoms like Legend of the Seeker and more popular ones like Teen Wolf and newbies like Sleepy Hollow (though there's also Texts From Sleepy Hollow)

Murdoch Mysteries is an amazing show set in Victorian Canada and has a backdrop of early forensic science being used to investigate crimes, but also touching on social issues that are still relevant and controversial today – race, gender, religion, divorce, abortion. There's very little fandom for it but the Murdoch Mysteries Appreciation Society is an incredibly safe place given that it's Facebook, with dicusssions about the the show, the books on which the show is based, and information about the actors' other projects, convention appearances, filming schedule, etc.
I made a list of helpful Dreamwidth links a while back that should be still relevant but to single out one useful resource I'd say Community Promo is a must-watch for finding out about new comms, fanfic fests, charity events, and so on.
Day Six
In your own space, share a book/song/movie/tv show/fanwork/etc that changed your life. Something that impacted on your consciousness in a way that left its mark on your soul.
I'm all about the TV fandoms but there are some movie and book fandoms I dip into. However Terry Pratchett's Discworld has and continues to be a huge influence on me, my writing, my beliefs. In particular Hogfather and Small Gods for the ideas about and questions they raise about the nature of belief and, with "Witches Abroad", the importance of narrative.
