Summary: AU in which Jack is kidnapped and interrogated by the Visitors, leaving Joshua, Erica, and Hobbes to mount a rescue

Tired of Father Jack stirring up dissent, Anna orders him to be kidnapped and interrogated. If he's part of the Fifth Column, he can give up the names of other members, and even if he's not, he's to be brainwashed to serve her, if possible – or killed.
Jack is kidnapped from the church one night. Marcus orders Joshua to oversee the interrogation, taking place in an abandoned building on Earth.
Erica is worried when she doesn't hear from Jack after leaving him several messages. Hobbes agrees it's suspicious but tracing Jack's phone only leads to the empty church. Joshua manages to contact Erica and give her their location.
Jack is tortured. Marcus stays for a short time but is called away on other business.
Erica and Hobbes enter the building cautiously. Joshua kills his fellow interrogator. Erica thanks Joshua and wakes Jack. Joshua says Erica must shoot him – at least a shoulder wound, or suspicion will fall on him. Reluctantly, she does so. Hobbes takes Jack to the car.
Safely back at the church, Erica hugs Jack, relieved he's not badly hurt. The three of them drink a toast to their success and Joshua's bravery. Joshua is healed. Anna is furious.
