Grimm, Nick, the most ridiculous Wesen ever
"For obvious reasons you don't often see them around, Nick – and it's not like the little guy can do too much harm is it, I mean it was a prank –"
"He bit me," Nick protested, holding the struggling creature between a finger and thumb while it screamed obscenities at him. A Däumling - an actual Tom Thumb – had to be the most ridiculous Wesen ever.
Borgias, Cesare, absolution
He never wanted to be Cardinal Borgia. His destiny lies in leading armies, not mass. The hypocrisy burns as he dispenses absolution he feels he is utterly unqualified to give, unable to fully believe in, and unworthy of himself.
The Borgias, Cesare/Micheletto, cleave to you
"My Lord," Micheletto cries as he comes.
Afterwards, they lie amongst tangled sheets that smell of sweat and sex and sin, and Micheletto is content. It might be that Cesare's heart belongs to Lucrezia, but there's no doubt now that his body belongs to Micheletto.
Legend of the Seeker / Once Upon A Time, Richard/Regina, "I believe in redemption"
"Why didn't you kill me when you had the chance?"
Bound in chains at Regina's feet, Richard said, "I wanted to give you a chance to surrender, Regina, because I believe in redemption."
Regina raised an eyebrow, and her sword, and said, "Well, sadly for you, I don't."
Legend of the Seeker, Richard/Denna, you'll never be free of me
Richard would never be free of Denna, never quite stop loving his Mistress, though he told himself his heart burned with desire only for Kahlan.
Denna could never be free of Richard, of what he'd done, of what he'd set in motion, of how he'd ruined her life.
It was a match made in the Underworld, that they'd be never together but never truly apart, locked in an eternal and unforgiving and unholy matrimony.
Legend of the Seeker, any Mord'Sith, the symbolism of the braid
Mord'Sith wore their hair long as a sign of the authority, tightly plaited so their tresses did not impede their fighting skills (they thought Confessors were silly to have their hair flying loose during battle).
A braid was often woven by a fellow Sister, a show of camaraderie, the braid itself representing discipline and devotion as well as being practical.
In contrast, letting someone unbraid your hair, allowing them to release your locks, to caress the nape of your neck…that was a sign of trust, a far more intimate act than those outside the Sisterhood realised.
Legend of the Seeker, Zedd/Cara, post-Unbroken: this reality above all others
He'd destroyed the world, in a manner of speaking – a damaged world, true, but one in which Richard had been happy. He'd do it again in a heartbeat if it meant making things right, saving the world.

Her braid had been a symbol of her bond with the Sisterhood, and at first Cara had missed it, had felt almost naked without it. She comforted herself with the thought that her hair would grow again. In the meantime, her short hair marked her out as a different kind of Mord'Sith, one without the restrictive neckpiece, one who possessed two Agiels, one who followed the true Lord Rahl.

Richard leaned back, contented from the birthday feast and spoke of sleep, but Nicci shook her head, saying, "I haven't given you your present yet."
She began to unlace her gown, then paused. "Would you care to unwrap it yourself?"

"But, but that doesn't make any sense!"
"Told you he was Richard's long lost evil twin," Spike said smugly. "I keep telling you soaps don't have to make sense, Sherl."
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, non-Scoobies, medical schools have taken to warning students about accepting residencies at Sunnydale General
Amanda understood the dangers of working in war torn areas abroad, or gang controlled areas of American cities, but Sunnydale was so small and charming that the warning from her med school about "worrying levels of violence witnessed in and around Sunnydale General" had to be an exaggeration, and so she took an internship there anyway.
Her first night shift saw her witness a vampire murder an orderly right in front of her, and he would have come for her too except for the petite blonde who staked him without hesitation.
Amanda transferred out the next week and posted a warning of her own on every social media account she had, hoping to spare others the same fate.
Highlander/James Bond (any), Bond, he does/will outlive them all
"And who are ye?" Duncan asked, sword at the ready.
"Bond. James Bond."
"No, I killed him last week," Duncan protested.
Bond brushed imaginary lint from his lapel. "You can kill me too," he said, "but you cannot kill James Bond. For you there can be only one. For us, there must always be one."

"You're perverted, allowing explicit fiction and real person fic and probably song fic and all sorts of other monstrosities," fumed FF.
AO blinked lazily, countering, "I offer greater freedom and listen to my members, and while your traffic currently outnumbers mine, more and more people are joining me because they appreciate my openness."
They could both agree that plagiarism was unacceptable, but on most other matters, their differences were greater than their similarities.
Father Ted, Dougal McGuire, pope
He's not sure how it happened – some very odd freak accidents happened to a lot of Cardinals, then there was a last minute trip to Rome and then he was locked up in some old palace and missing his favourite TV shows, and people kept sneaking him money and telling him things in low voices and waggling their eyebrows, and some people died, and there was some sort of voting which was a bit like a reality show but there was less eating of disgusting things, and it was all terribly confusing.
Next thing Dougal knew he was dressed in white and now he's riding around in something called the Popemobile, and it's a bit like that time he was Bo Peep on the annual spring float on Craggy Island and that sheep peed on his foot, except here there aren't any sheep and it's mad because people are screaming at him and cheering like he's some sort of football star!
At last he turns to the man who's been calling "Your Holiness" for several minutes and says, "Oh, right you are, you mean me," and grins, unable to understand why the poor man looks so pained.

Zedd/Cara ftw :D I've always thought Cara would have strong feelings about the hair issue. And I love the Richard/Nicci one ;)

Although I sympathize with Amanda, this worried me a little: if no medical people came to Sunnydale (at least while there still is a Sunnydale) the townspeople would be in even more trouble than they already are!
I like the meta AO3 and FF net, and LOL at the perpetual James Bond :D
