1. How do you think your life would be different without fandom in it?
2. What is a movie that you enjoy watching over and over again? What makes it special?
3. You've got a whole day to do whatever you want, with whomever you want. Spare no expense. What would you do?
4. What is your favorite color? How do you incorporate it into your daily life?
5. Do you read more than one book at a time? How's that working out for you?
6. How are you a creative person?
7. Would you rather be as taller or shorter than your current stature?
8. If I give you the prompt 'stars', what three sentence fic do you come up with?
9. Not that your birthday isn't important but what national/international holiday do you enjoy the most?
10. For one day, you're cursed with only being able to say one word. The up side of this is that you get to pick your word. Which do you choose?
1. It would be a lot less interesting and I wouldn't have met my closest online friends.
2. "Nightmare Before Christmas" – Halloween plus Christmas plus music by Danny Elfman. It has great characters and some wonderful dialogue.
3. I'll go for something plausible rather than improbable/impossible. At a nice beach with my family, with a fantastic picnic of favourite foods and wines.
4. Purple. My room is painted amethyst and I have many purple clothes and some purple jewellery.
5. Yes, I sometimes do, and I never get confused. Rather it allows me to either spend longer savouring a book by taking a break midway or lets me step back if I'm bored and give it another chance later. Sometimes I'm just in the mood for something different than the book I'm currently reading.
6. Ideas predominiantly, which I translate most often into writing (fanfic and original), but I also make graphics, take photographs, and dabble in other fanworks
7. Taller! I'm 5 feet 2 inches and I'd love to be just a couple of inches taller
8. Winter was cold and bitter and tonight the north wind was biting at her cheeks. However the moon and the stars were often at their most visible at this time of year. Shivering despite her thick coat, she thought it worth braving the elements, picking out Orion's belt, the Big Dipper, and the Cassiopeia constellation.
9. Yule is very special to me
10. Maybe. With varying inflections :D
I don't like tagging people but if you want to play, here are ten questions for you. Answer them in your journal and then add ten new questions, tagging people to answer them if you wish.
1. Summer or Winter?
2. Can you swim?
3. What is your favourite LJ or DW community?
4. What languages can you communicate in?*
5. Do you have a personal motto to live by?**
6. Do you prefer to write or draw by hand first, or create things digitally from the start?
7. Do you have a favourite author(s)?
8. Have you ever or would you ever like to ride a horse?
9. Have you ever or would you ever like to cosplay?
10. Are there any movies you want to see at the cinema this year?
* I chose 'communicate' in case you can, for example, read Latin but not speak it, and to include languages like ASL which aren't spoken.
** My personal motto is simply "learn something new every day". It doesn't have to be profound or a traditional family motto accompanying a crest, though that would be great :)
