Date: 2012-08-26 11:47 pm (UTC)I know you haven't yet started Round 1, but do you have good feelings about the comm? When my latest one ends, and with having dropped
Although I clicked on the link and I realized that there was pretty much nothing there yet, with basically no members or anything, so you probably can't tell me much as of yet. :)

Date: 2012-08-27 07:38 am (UTC)I don't know; it seemed tiny, which made me feel more okay about signing up because this will bring me back up to four landcomms (plus the Grimm non-landcomm challenge comm and the odd 20in20 comm, and whedonlandreunion next year) and tiny I equate with laid back.
I'll compare my experiences at current comms.
Vd-land is tiny and I've found it incredibly laid back. Writerverse has been harder to connect with people because it's not directly fan-related, though I have found people sharing my interests as time has gone on. There were problems during the first phase, so that might happen here also if the mod is new to it.
And you know all about how much I love team Mord'Sith :D
I think the mod is a bit ambitious in hoping to get up and running by early September, because I only saw the promo posted two days ago, and I think it needs better promoting and a few more members before we get going. Maybe it should have started out like the Grimm comm I mentioned (VD-land apparently started out this way) with no teams, just participate when you like challenges, to get people interested. The fandom isn't that big, after all.
Even members can't see any posts other than the rules and the sign up post. So it is very bare right now. But I thought I'd support a DW landcomm and have an excuse to make a few Lost Girl graphics, so I'll see how it goes!
