I've finally posted my original fic index posts. (Thanks to

dorothydeath for helping with the blurbs) Now I just have to keep them up to date!

I did have other things I wanted to do, but before LJ implements the new f-list as a mandatory thing, I'm starting to go through all seven pages of my subscriptions and unsubscribe from old journals/comms no longer updated, and then track via email/add rss feed to DW for all the ones I'm still active in. (I've managed one page so far!) Then I guess I'll back up all the pages I have in 'memories' before people start deleting their journals as many have threatened to.

Dreamwidth is aware of, and is working on a fix for, the importing comments issue.

I hope to post some more photos next week, from Halloween, and of the pets.

Goals for the month: post at least 8k of fic. Claim at least one bingo for cottoncandy-bingo. Start my Yuletide assignment.

I don't think it has ever been addressed in the show or the books, but in case I missed it, does anyone who is familiar with Vampire Diaries know if the vampires have souls?
If it's not mentioned I could choose either for the purposes of the fic I want to write, but I'm wondering if there's anything in canon to support it one way or the other. Buffy's vampires didn't, for the most part, but in things like Moonlighting it seems they may retain their souls (and thus more of their humanity).

I just joined Vampire Diaries land. I'm often half a season behind but I'm catching up, and I've read the first four books so far :D ~~I also need an excuse to make more Elena, Damon, Elijah, Alaric icons/fic~~

Go to vd-land to visit the main page and find out about the comm and how to apply for a team. You must complete one challenge every month unless using a 'skip' and awards are given to one of the two teams monthly, plus there's the 'end of season' award given once every six months. Challenges include fic, graphics, and games.
