I think I touched on this a bit during the sunshine challenge fannish identity post. I've been involved in fandom for a long time. I wrote fanfic longhand before I knew it was a Thing. I had paper zines (Quantum Leap, Babylon 5 my main ones) and then mailing lists/Yahoo Groups (Brimstone, maybe Buffy, I had non-fannish groups too), and then FF.net came along, and LJ, to be joined by AO3 and DW.

My first fic posted to AO3 is Much Saves the Day, Robin Hood BBC, 21 December 2006, (back dated work that's also my first LJ fic entry).
