Summary: In the episode "Hunger", Cara is killed. In the Underworld she makes a deal with Darken and returns as a baneling, hungering to kill each night or else decay and die. She hides this despite Darken's taunts, but her friends find out and vow to help her. Richard finds a cure, though Darken drains the magical water. Cara proves it worked by resurrecting a comrade using her breath of life; she's saved.
Title: Falling Pope
Fandom: Falling Skies
Prompt: For the
hc_bingo prompt "electrocution"
Medium: art (picspam)
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: no warnings apply
x-posts: x, x
Summary: S4E3: To escape the prison camp, an electric fence must be scaled and the generator beyond destroyed and, to Pope's disgust, he finds himself needing to volunteer. The jury-rigged suit meant to protect him isn't really up to the task, electricity bombarding it and him, especially when his exposure is prolonged by needing to retrieve the bomb when it falls. The suit begins to fall apart, and he's shocked, throwing him to the ground beyond the fence, unconscious. As things get desperate, Pope comes to in time to detonate the bomb and, when that's only partially successful, hit the generator until it's off. Later, he brushes off the thanks he receives, but he's probably secretly proud.
