LJ suspension - LJ SNAFU, now resolved

meridian_roseMy LJ has been suspended without any prior notification or reason. I've made a request to support to see why. I was able to read/respond to entries yesterday so this seems odd; it's not as if my journal is new or I've been posting "offensive content" so I don't know what's going on. Another one of those times I'm glad I have DW where I do most of my posting now. But there are some comms I still very much want to follow at LJ who haven't moved over/moved fully over here, and my main LJ friends who have DW journals still mostly only read and write at LJ. So. This sucks. Will update later.
ETA: A DW comm member mentioned this link: http://jjpor.livejournal.com/113011.html suggesting LJ has FUBAR with a new anti-spam measure. *fumes* I love how the LJ-er says "They didn't add "you scumbag", but they may as well have." because that "your journal has been suspended" page is pretty offensive when you've done nothing wrong. At LJ you're guilty until we decide you're innocent!
ETA two: Resolved; Thank you for your inquiry. Your journal was suspended due to some anti-spam measures that were put into place. However, the suspension of your journal was incorrect and I have now unsuspended it. I apologize for any frustration this situation caused you.

Which is all well and good, but how come I had to find out about this via a third party? If it's such a prevalent issue, why isn't it on the Facebook page and the official announcement comm? I'm pleased the issue is resolved but pissed off at the fact it happened in the first place and how it is being handled. Crappy customer service, but nothing new there I suppose.
