Writer's Block

meridian_roseI'm still struggling with writer's block.
I know that in terms of writing:
Editing counts.
Writing cracky reviews and ship manifestos count.
Emails can count.
Thoughtful reviews, concrit, beta reading can count.
I know that in terms of creativity, all graphics count, knitting and other crafts count, just having ideas counts.
It's not a Dry Spell for which I'm thankful. I've got ideas but when I try to write fiction I just can't seem to get the words out.
I forced out two drabbles for writerverse, not my best work, though probably not as bad as I think they are. I thought that might open up the floodgates again, but no such luck.
It's the end of phase drabble challenge at writerverse, which I rocked last time. I haven't had a 'high' like that since. There's been real life stuff going on since then that hasn't helped. I have managed some writing inbetween, but these last couple of weeks I've lost the flow again and it's been difficult. I'm trying to keep positive and keep making graphics and edit things. I go for walks and listen to music and other things that usually help, but they're only feeding ideas and not helping me actually write.
IDK. I just needed to whine a little. That's something that often does help, oddly enough.
