confessoralana; I'm not going to tag anyone because most of you seem busy/absent from LJ right now. But if you want to answer some/all of these questions, go ahead :D
1. Favourite fairytale.
Beauty and the Beast. Because library kink. I'm also more interested in Red Riding Hood these days and the symbolism within it, but from a more adult POV. *cough* shipping Red/Wolf *cough*. I haven't got to Ruby's story in 'Once Upon A Time' yet so I may find something to enjoy there.
2. Favourite book.
Hogfather by Terry Pratchett, because it has some of my favourite Discworld characters in it and has lots to say about the nature of belief, plus some very funny scenes (many which weren't in the tv adaptation, sadly).
3. Favourite movie.
Too hard to pick. I've got a list in my profile of some of my favourites but it depends on what mood I'm in as to what I want to watch.
4. If you could be something else for a day what would it be? (my initial intention would be professionally but feel free to have fun with it and interpret it as loosely as you'd like XD)
A dragon. I'd kick ass for the day!
5. Something about a fandom you don't understand but others love.
I can't support the Beckett/Castle dynamic in 'Castle' because it's all the fandom seems to care about, that Beckett marry Castle immediately and start having his babies. I'm watching a "dramedy" about a writer who gets ideas from following a cop around, while Ryan and Esposito make wisecracks, not a romantic drama about a cop who wants to become a wife.
6. Something so good (or that bad) on tv that made you jump out of the sofa/couch shouting/screaming on top of you lungs.
We have exciting tv watching sometimes, things like 'Spartacus' (watch out, look behind you!), or movies (not the basement!!).
7. A nice habit you have -and the possible story behind it XD.
Does leaving feedback count? Because I try to leave feedback on fanworks on a regular basis. I know how much a nice comment brightens my day :D
8. Something that you're proud of.
My writing, for the most part.
9. Good book or good tv?
Don't make me choose. If I love a show I seek out fanfic and novelisations and maybe books about the subject(s) featured. And there are books which become shows/movies.
I love reading – can be done almost anywhere, anytime, at your own pace, so it wins, but I love watching tv.
10. Your favourite gif. XD
Favourite is difficult. I've acquired a lot recently. Hmm what about this recent one;

Hale comforts Kensi, "Lost Girl". Such a sweet moment :D
