You know you're a Burn Notice fan when….
1. In every other TV show/movie you're watching you point out something that would have been better handled by Michael and/or Fiona
2. Every time you watch a spy/action movie, you try to decide if Michael Westen could kick the other character's butt. And the answer is usually yes. notadate
3. You watch another show set in Miami and keep wondering when Michael's going to show up and start blowing stuff up
4. You're watching CSI: Miami and catch yourself wondering how Horatio Caine would handle Michael Westen and Fiona. Then you place a silent bet that Fiona would kick his butt. :) crawlypie (see also numbers 3 and 1)
5. Yogurt is the only item in your house that you immediately run out to buy if you run out. kuroilotus
6. You watch Battlestar Galactica and start wondering which Cylon will next show up on Burn Notice (Thanks to nebakanezer for pointing out this should be number six on the list)
7. You check the exits everywhere you go
8. You have searched your house for every possible place that you could put a 'slick'. kuroilotus
9. You go to your local bank, convenience store, or wherever there are security cameras and automatically start looking for the holes in their security plan. kuroilotus
10. You find yourself being very careful what you discuss on your cellphone as you never know who could be listening in. kuroilotus
11. You insist on pronouncing "Miami" in the faux Irish accent Gabrielle Anwar's Fiona sports in the pilot and opening credits… (thanks to badluck97 for correcting the wording on this one)
12. …and if someone mentions anything about a gun or shooting, you automatically reply with "shall we shoot them?" in the Fiona accent . yoursinginlover
13. You give educational monologues whether there's anyone to listen to them or not
14. When you see a show's cast all walking out of a building ( a scene that's used in like a BILLION openings now), you wonder when the building will blow up behind them. maskedcorsair
15. Any mention of Armani conjures up mental images of Michael Westen
16. You watch any Bruce Campbell movie and start wondering when Michael's going to show up
17. Ditto for Gabrielle Anwar; and if you're watching a Jeffrey Donovan movie you're disappointed not to see Fiona or Sam
18. In fact, you'll go out of your way to record/watch/buy any movie or tv episode featuring your favourite Burn Notice actor(s)
19. You're watching Food Network and wondering when one of them is going to make a faux C4 bomb out of all that fondant. kuroilotus
20. You look at your random items of shopping and start wondering what weaponry Michael and Fiona could cook up out of them
21. You refer to your significant other as your 'tactical support'. kuroilotus
22. If someone mentions "Cagney and Lacey" you think about Madeline Westen, and/or the time Sam and Fiona used these names as their aliases
23. When pouring drinks you wonder which alcoholic beverage makes the best firebomb to repel mob types with…
24. …And, from personal experience, you give a presentation in a class on how Molotov cocktails are made/work. maskedcorsair
25. Handguns and snowglobes are the only gifts you consider buying for your significant other
26. You've bought any Burn Notice DVDs, soundtracks, books available in your country or are on waitlist for these if they're not yet available; bonus points if you've imported said items from abroad to avoid the wait
27. You read/write fanfic, watch/make fanvids, use/create wallpapers, icons, banners, etc
28. You can name each episode, can summarise its storyline, name the guest stars, and even give a quote from it
29. You buy clothes, shoes, and accessories according to the USA Network's "Spy Style" webpage
30. You find yourself helping to compile or reading lists like this one :)
