I'm totally in love with Kat and this story! :D
There are SO MANY great ideas here and so many AWESOME lines! If I begin to quote them I'm afraid I will have to quote the whole thing.

I'll try to pick some of my favorite of favorite... of favorite... though.

Of course she'd gotten in trouble last time she'd handed out a title on a whim - as much trouble as the Council could muster against their monarch, anyway.

I JUST LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH!! :D

And of course I have LOTS of question!
What's the Citadel? What form of government is there in this world/country/what-is-it-btw (some kind of monarchy, I get it. But what kind exactly? Is the Council elected or appointed? How much power does it have?). If Kat is a princess her father must be/must have been (which is correct?) the King, right? Is Kat the only child? Why Honor is called Honor? Is it a name (it's very cool, btw) or a title?
Tara is one of the guard and I gather she's a badass chick with great fighting skills. Is it normal in this world or something out of the ordinary? (She's caught my eye cause I just loooove badass women! But you know that).
Is there magic in this world?
BTW Gloriana Katerina is a cool name, too!

OMG I don't make sense! I'm thinking these thoughts all at once and they come out in a one big impossible knot and I can't do anything about it! O_o
