Summary: Crowley choked back a sob. When he turned, Aziraphale's heart sank at the tear-stained face. "You don't trust me," Crowley wailed.
How on earth had he reached that conclusion?

Aziraphale and Crowley have a frank discussion on developing intimacy in their relationship, which comes to involve sleeping in the same bed. Or Crowley sleeps but Aziraphale doesn't, and when Crowley finds out he jumps to the wrong conclusion entirely. This forces Aziraphale to calm the distraught Crowley by confessing something he's kept private for millennia.
