Holiday Songs
Dec. 9th, 2015 02:29 pmEarlier in the year I queued up some holiday songs at Tumblr, at least 1, sometimes 2 per day, from 1 December through to 25 December (Boxing Day, St Stephen's Day, hence "Good King Wenceslas"). Because of my eclectic approach to music, there's a lot of variety here from the crooner classics and traditional carols, to pop tunes and solstice celebrations. It doesn't represent all the songs I like but does include many of my favourites.

I've also made a Spotify playlist: https://open.spotify.com/user/meridian-rose/playlist/4UrPv754SpyE7Z3HtcLr6e
I couldn't find all of the songs/all the versions I prefer but I did my best!
In previous years I've also highlighted particular songs with added notes about them and I've gathered up most of the commentary and posted it below, along with details of the two songs missing from the Spotify list.
