End of Section Exercise: Write a short paragraph or two, either original or fanfiction, in a narration style you would not normally use. As you do so, observe yourself. Is it easier? More difficult? Awkward? Record those thoughts at the end of the exercise.
I decided to try writing in the first person plural and future tense. The latter was a difficult prospect and I'm not sure I pulled it off; this article did give me a good starting point though. I'm not sure what to make of the result. It's highly surreal, with possible interpretations of either high fantasy or dystopian science fiction. I did find it difficult to write, and wouldn't like to try writing a full length novel in either of these styles.
