Revolution
There once was a kingdom called Rothenburg
Where women were treated as property
They were judged on the skill on their needlework
Poor embroidery was quite a travesty
The Margrave ruled over this kingdom
Made women speak always in rhyme
Any who questioned this wisdom
Were in for a very bad time
Then came the woman in pink
Not demure or overly smart
But bold, within an eye's blink
She cut out a wild Shadrin's heart
The Margrave wanted this woman
But something went wrong with his plan
Enraptured by her fair bosom
He was bested and the woman, she ran
Soon after there was revolution
If she could win, why not could we?
The Margrave got his retribution
Finally, women were free
A portrait of our inspiration
Above Queen Millicent's throne, hangs
All that's missing from our liberation
Is for us to stop rhyming at last
