write a character's New Year Resolutions:

Zedd's list

1 stop using the phrase 'powerful magic' so often – apparently it's 'annoying'
2 be more forgiving and in particular, reconcile with Shota – she'd be a better allay than an enemy anyway
3 spend more time with Cara because although she won't admit it, she gets lonely sometimes now that Richard and Kahlan can be, um, together
4 in relation to the above, stop nagging Richard and Kahlan about when they're getting married and when I'll be getting a great-grandchild – things happen at their own pace
5 go swimming more often – it's good exercise for the joints

Baneling Zedd - I love it!! And so would Darken - finally Zedd would be at his beck and call to torment forever.

Zedd's list: LOL at # 1, 3 and 5. Totally agree with #2 - Zedd and Shota are great together. Awww at #4. There is a tenderness and protectiveness between Zedd and Cara that I really like, and they both seem rather pushed to the side at the end of "Tears". They need each other.
