Thanks :) I made lots of icons fills for trope bingo in my desire to get a blackout, which is perfectly acceptable but feels a little like cheating! Still, I managed a couple of fics too :)

:) To me, five icons (min) just seems different to 500 words of fic. Not necessarily easier, though that's part of it, but also in terms of "how good" it is; I think it's because I'm primarily a writer but an amateur graphic maker. It's a personal thing and so it's probably good for me to try other ways of making fills and that I did also make a rec set, meta, etc. :)

Hm'kay. Odd balance, I guess. It'd be hard to find a good balance with graphics and writing - they're such different things.
As long as you're having fun with it, that's the main thing. :)
