Apparently this is bi-polar owl but I think it's just as relevant to FYFanficFlamingo and FYWriterLeopard. Especially this week, when I've been awake at 5am because it's finally cool, too exhausted to actually write but filled with ideas (which enthusiasm will melt like snow as the heat and humidity rise)

Yes, the heat sucks!

After the debacle that was the Arrow finale, I'm really not excited for season 2 :( I'll probably watch for Felicity, and I heard Summer Glau and Kevin Alejandro are to guest, which is good, but I'm not thrilled for it - one Merlyn dead I was prepared for but not both. The curse of the OTP strikes again. Felicity ought to stop making goo-goo eyes at Ollie or she'll die next!

I saw that on Tumblr. And it is so me as well. Although for me it is graphics stuff, rather than writing stuff.

I also feel you about the heat and humidity. Ugh, I hate it.

I hope you get some stuff successfully completed!

Oddly, I've been able to make graphics - different mindset! And squeeze out some poetry :) But yes, it's hard to concentrate and I'm glad it's not just me and my Goldilocks need for a temperate environment! Hope you're doing better too :D

I can see how that dichotomy could apply to your writing now because of the weather.

I hope to read your poems in the next few days. I am on LJ on a rather sporatic basis.

I've seen other memes with the basic idea of "stare at pc for three hours; no ideas. Go to bed; ALL the ideas" so it seems a pan-creative experience to suffer from a disconnect between time, inspiration, and motivation!

I'm sending you sympathy! I usually prefer the state of inspired-but-can't-actually-write to being totally uninspired, but it's definitely very frustrating.

Also it sounds like you're having heat wave troubles, which are so miserable. I hope the weather gets better soon!

Oh, yes, I'll take "ideas I can't write up" over "no ideas at all" any day of the week! But still, frustrating to be reduced to tinkering with graphics when I have notes I want to be writing up before I lose track of them. Hiveword is helping somewhat though; it's given me a place to add random scene notes where I can find them again later :)
