Livejournal Scrapbook is going away and will be replaced by the mysterious "Photo Album". Your 10GB of Paid Member space is now 2GB. If you care, there is an explanation in Russian on the Russian news page. There's also a user-submitted translation.

+ You will no longer have access to your Scrapbook once this goes live.
+ Your images will redirect, but the URL will be different.
+ Unable to tell what will happen to any photos you have that put you over the 2GB limit.
+ Back up your Scrapbook just in case.
+ If you want your photos transferred over now instead of waiting, let them know here.

I've seen this reposted so many times, and it great to be informed of these changes, but the part of the storage space seems to be misinterpreted a lot.

Paid accounts always had 2G of storage space. The 10G is only for those who paid for even more space, which is like $25 more. (or if you have a permanent account, which gives like 15G).

Not sure what happens with those accounts, tho, but members with just paid accounts will still have the same space they had before, 2G.

Thanks for the info :D I don't really use the Scrapbook myself since Photobucket lifted the storage space limits but I thought other people might be relying on it and need to back up their stuff.
