faded flowers and brown leaves;
autumn approaches

Squirrels scurrying
scuffling in the fallen leaves
collecting acorns

Ripe apples, rose hips
luscious blackberries, chestnuts
autumnal harvest

haiku: signs of autumn 4
Freshly ploughed fields, the
rich earth prepared for next year
ready for sowing
