Sunshine Challenge - Prompt 6

Prompt 6: Share Fannish Collections Lots of blurry pics and rambling under the cut

I took some random pics with my mediocre cameraphone but didn't feel like climbing up to get better shots of the higher shelves, then I dropped the pics into collages on Photoshop so the quality isn't great, sorry!

A lot of this stuff is gifts, some I got myself.
I have more photos and prints/pics stored.
I also have a lot of DvDs and CDs tucked away in storage boxes. I also have t-shirts not easily accessible right now for shows and movies including X-files, Friends, Hercules, Reservoir Dogs, and South Park.

The first pic is one I've shared before, my Targaryen mug (Game of Thrones); Lord of the Rings Gollum poster; close-up of some mini Nightmare Before Christmas figures; my Xena chakram earrings which I wore to the only Herc/Xena con I attended; There's a Dr Who album and Men in Black book there (my handmade blank journal and a folder containing photo negatives are in the shot :P) and 2 folders from my brief affair with trading cards for TV show Alias and CSI:Miami.

More figures: mini lego Star-Lord from Guardians of the Galaxy; same Star-lord figure sitting next to mini Lego Winter Soldier Bucky (MCU); blurry mini funko Star-Lord; Angel, Spike both from Angel/Buffy The Vampire, Gabrielle (Xena) and a Gollum other side of the soft toy; you can see Angel and Gabrielle again here with Hercules (Hercules:The Legendary Journeys) to the left; more Buffy figures: Angel, Willow, and Tara; Q from Star Trek: The Next Generation, he says the phrases "humans" "what a pity" and "Bonjour, mon capitan" :) I got him when we did a family visit to the Star Trek exhibition in Birmingham UK, 1997.

An old gift, Friends themed plastic reusable mug. It's too big to actually use so I store cake decorating items in it :P Front and large back view with the fake coffee names visible; pencil sketch gift of John Barrowman as Capt Jack Harkness from Dr Who (I have an 11th Dr+Martha print but due to the size and my lack of space it's currently hidden behind a shelving unit!); Pikachu this was from the first time around Pokemon was popular late 90's and he's sitting in front of more Lord of the Rings figures and a LOTR one ring :)

More books, tv and movie related with a few others sneaking in to shot, a couple of media theory and scriptbooks in the blurry top pic. I have more novelisations and tie-in novels in various storage boxes. These days I read a lot more fanfic so have fewer tie-ins, and go for mostly ebooks because of storage space. Though I've heard good things about the Good Omens scriptbook that I might like ;P

Some though by no means all of my Pratchett books; you can see Togepi (Pokemon) to the right of the pic with other toys; there's a Kenny from South Park behind other toys in that holder but you can see Tigger from Winnie-the-Pooh in this last pic!

Also showing off the pre-printed tapestry of Tigger I finished for my younger nephew just after he was born and which I framed:

and the baby!Groot cross-stitch I made as a gift for my sister, and George from Peppa Pig for my nephew, some of you might have seen these one before:

I also have a lot of collections of non-fannish stuff. Can you be fannish about places because I have photos/art/prints and t-shirts and memorabilia for Cornwall, in particular St Ives

And animals; crabs, rats, bats, dogs, llamas, turtles, ravens, to name a few. Plus I lean spiritual with lots of moon related items and things related to the ocean generally.

eta: I have a Dory (Finding Nemo) body scrub and used to have a Gill figure from same movie in the bathroom until he got mouldy :P There are probably more things I'm forgetting. Fannish bits and pieces are a part of my life :)

Thanks for reading :)
