quick update, youtube tips, and vid rec

House sitting is done but now I'm behind again. I will try and get back to the sunshine-challenge at some point. I've also been doing some other sorting and tidying on the pc including updating youtube playlists (this is a bigger task than expected because it's been literal years since I did any housekeeping at youtube)

Find Missing Video:

Couple of tips for finding a deleted video on youtube - if you've got a long list of fave songs for example and one now says "deleted video" and you don't recall what it was.
1) the waybackmachine, easily accessible via archive.org (choose 'web sites' not metadata from the dropdown menu). Plug the url in and see if there's a stored copy. You probably won't be able to get the video itself but you might get the title and be able to source a replacement vid for your playlist.
2) if that doesn't work, this vid https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6uQknYRrd-Y "Recover the title of deleted Youtube videos" has another idea. Namely, take just the number section of the missing vid (I'll use the vid I'm reccing below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rn-45LY-Gs for example) and paste into google search "1rn-45LY-Gs"
You might get an archived mention of the video, someone reccing it on a forum, etc.
From the comments of the 'how to' vid, came another tip: if the 'all' default results of that search doesn't have the result you want, try the image option. Sometimes you'll get a thumbnail that will remind you what vid the url belonged to.

Hope that's helpful to someone :)

Vid Rec:

One of the vids I found in my massive 'watch later' vid for your amusement, "Avengers Pokémon Rap!" an Infinity War character list, Pokémon Rap style.
