NaNoWriMo 2017

50,021 words so far!
I didn’t think I’d win NaNo this year. I had some bad days, some days I didn’t write for NaNo, some days I wrote nothing at all. I made it, and though the novel is far from finished, it’s significantly further along now!

I couldn’t have done it without dreamywritingdragon/tinamour listening to me whine, encouraging me along, sending me gifs when I reached a goal, reading snippets, and brainstorming! Thank you!

Congratulations!

I'm expecting to reach the 50K mark sometime today (I have 719 words to go -- I'll round that up to 800, to account for how the word counter lags more the longer your WIP gets).

I won't reach the end of my original idea for my novel, but I probably will reach the end of what I'd been thinking of as my backstory.

And I expect to make that backstory the one I'll revise into a polished piece.

P.S.: Got there! 50,089 words so far... Now, my personal goal is to make this my Wordiest Novel, and break my personal record of 52,128... *happy dance*

Well, I wrote over 2K words yesterday, and I think I can easily write half that a day between now and Thursday in order to get to the end of the plot I eventually settled on, so... *fingers crossed Luck doesn't throw a wrench in my plans*

(Just now looking up the mechanics of toad voices, in preparation for writing my next scene)
