Thank you :) Types of relationships and emotional bonds are something I like to look at – non-sexual relationships in particular, and navigating beyond "just" friends (and not automatically privileging a sexual relationship over a nonsexual one).
Admittedly this is an AU of canon, where one character lives and so in this scenario the canonical soulmate was never born.
