This is quite a poignant commentary on the loneliness of power, especially when wielded by a woman. I loved the description of the matchmaker, and her refusal to give Kat an easy lie rather than the hard truth, or at least the truth as she saw it.
Since very few are lucky to find a true soulmate, I hope Kat won't give up hope for a relationship that can still be deep and meaningful.
