I discarded several possible acronyms -
CHASER CHaracter Attitudes to SEx and Relationships
FERS Fictional Exploration of Relationships and Sex
SERIF SEx and RelatIonships In Fiction
before deciding on CARAS because it included all the words/concepts I wanted and didn't have any negative connotations in a brief google for it. That it includes 'cara' meaning dear was definitely a bonus though :D
