Look at my cute face! I'm such a puppy dog! I'm a leader who makes decisions even though it's clear I barely know the first thing about my new role in this strange new world. I love my female companion *tail wag*



I'm armed, dangerous, and have awesome hair! I'm probably twice as smart as the so-called leader of this pack/band, but the show isn't about me. So I'll probably just moon after him, utterly in inappropriate love as we are.



I'm smart and you should listen to me. No, really, you should. Sometimes I do really stupid things but I'll always support the pack/band. I'm skinny but what does that matter when my brains are my best asset?



You're all idiots and will get yourselves killed. I suppose I'll help. I should be the leader but what do I know? Abuse survivor, strong, sarcastic. I'll be over here when – not if – you need me.



I'm a charming sociopath, aren't I? I have issues with family. I deserve to be in charge of ALL the things. And I'm very, very hard to kill. You can try, but I'll rise from the dead if I have to.



I'm the smart one, actually. No-one gives me credit for my intelligence – and who says I don't have Powerful Magic? Is it because I'm a girl? You should watch yourselves. I may be more dangerous than you imagine.

You could argue for Nicci as Lydia, but I liked the Shota/Zedd Lydia/Stiles parallel plus the red hair.

Scott is probably even worse than Richard - he's even younger and dumber and takes even less advice!

Cara and Derek would actually be hot together I think. Derek spends a lot of time shirtless - this is him in my icon. He's a born werewolf rather than a made one, and Scott really should listen to him just like Richard ought to listen to Cara more!

Lydia looks like a typical Mean Girl, and acts shallow, especially in the first season. However she's actually genius level smart and survived a werewolf bite without turning into one herself, something even Derek didn't know was possible. Her connection to Peter (Darken) and latent powers brought him back from the dead which makes me think she's Shota level powerful. I hope in season three we get to see more of her story. She does look a little like Shota - maybe I can do an AU/fusion of some sort :D

It's not Buffy but it definitely has its moments! But try to start from the beginning if you can. I found season two very hard to understand because unlike other shows there was no recap or new POV character to help new viewers understand the plot.
