Is the man Shota sees Giller or Bram or someone we haven't seen? It's open to any interpretation the reader can come up with. I had half an idea that Michael Cypher might show up as head of a delegation from Westland or something (we know Darken likes Cypers ;P). I wanted to give him the canon options of Cara, a Confessor who's probably Kahlan, as well as the chance for him to be bisexual and find an unspecified male lover.
