You know I love Zedd/Cara friendship :D I'm glad you thought Kahlan was in character in her dismissal of the Mord'Sith's better qualities. It's also true she probably hasn't examined her own privileges and wouldn't understand how life is for Cara or for Cara's sister, Grace, in a world where Confessors are respected and feared. Class conciousness is definitely what I was aiming for, birth vs skill, so yay :D

You're right of course about the error with Cara's memories. I got so caught up with the images in the artwork that I forgot to take canon into account. I should get things beta'd before I post them publicly :P Thank you for letting me know; I will fix it before I x-post it to a wider audience. I'm trying to decide whether to try and 'fix' it in the story or add an AU disclaimer in the summary/notes. And blame the Powerful Magic that's at the pillars of creation :D
