Well this was from several years back, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. I know I had the idea that her mother was really from our world and had possibly come back here...maybe she'd been looking for her lover, who'd been turned into a frog. I was much better at starting fics back then, even when I didn't have the whole story planned out :D

Calico morphed nicely into a dragon - and lovely as kitties can be, a dragon is a much more suitable pet for this world.

Thank you. I really appreciate when people take the time to read and comment on original fic. To create readable, enjoyable, fanfic is one thing. To craft something wholly original is a different kind of challenge, and I always appreciate support and concrit :D
