The wizard Zorander has filled his head with nonsense Yeah. Richard was thoroughly brainwashed by Zedd and Kahlan in the very first episode. He had never heard of Darken before yet he was so quick to believe one crazy old man and one soul-stealing witch woman.
Another sign of her Rahl blood, another thing Darken found to appreciate in her. So Darken does like strong women after all. I like it that Darken prefers Jennsen this way.
"The wizard knew this," he said gently. "He lied to you too. They all care more about destroying me than protecting you." So true!
"I will take care of you now, beloved sister. No harm shall ever come to you while you are under my protection." And Darken sure will keep his promise. If only to see the look on Richard's face when he learns of this...
Oh! I so want to know how Richard would react to such unexpected turn of events!)))
He may have lost Denna, and he still hadn't taken possession of the last Box of Orden, but all things considered, Darken thought, things were looking up.
