I use rss feeds to follow Tumblr blogs because the interface itself is awful and it often crashes my browser! But going to one entry at a time is ok, it is scrolling that causes the problems. And yes different themes can cause issues with finding the "like" button or the "next page" button if you do try and look back through their entries - it's a mess.
