Thanks to everyone who gave me much needed, and much appreciated, support yesterday. It made a difference. I'm feeling much calmer today, and a good night's sleep helped. Also, cooler weather is promised for tomorrow; there may even be rain :D
I was worried it might be like last time, and I'd lose all my creativity on top of everything else, but this didn't happen, for which I'm grateful. In fact I even got some posts done :D
And while we're talking about posting, which of the 30 days of fiction meme should I tackle next? Leave a number in a comment :D
3) Write a query letter for a fantasy (any kind) novel
4) Prompt: a hostage situation
5) Write a scene entirely in dialogue
6) Write a scene with people talking, but without any actual dialog
7) Write something dirty (take that how you will)
8) Write a scene as a cat
11) Prompt: a dragon and a princess
12) Write a scene at a sushi bar
13) Prompt: underwater
21) Write a scene with a drink(ing) of some sort
23) Prompt: falling
24) Write a scene on a movie set
25) Prompt: noir style
26) Write a personalized rejection letter for the YA novel “Sparkle Lust”
27) Prompt: trapped
28) Prompt: overhearing a conversation
29) Write a scene about a [person] and their [animal]

Date: 2011-08-03 10:09 pm (UTC)Well, let's see...I still like 11, and I think 26 is a golden opportunity for parody of some kind...also, 5 and 6 are both quite interesting from a writerly techniques perspective, I think.
